Meet our team

Your child's key person is their class teacher, responsible for their progress, assessment, and outcomes throughout the year. Working closely with the classroom team, they regularly observe, plan, and review learning.

Observations and assessments are shared with families via our online learning journal (Tapestry) and help shape our teaching to support each child's development.

You can meet your child's key person during school tours and ‘come and play’ sessions before they start with us.

    "The thing that I enjoy about working in education is when you see that one individual finally understands the concept you are trying to teach. It is a special moment and one that drives me to ensure all children leave our school with the ability to succeed."

    Mr Sutherland has the overall responsibility for the running of the school. He is Headteacher of Dollis Primary School and Executive Headteacher of Dollis and Watling Park School, nearby. He is also Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, Healthy Schools Lead, responsible for teaching & learning, behaviour, and staffing and Geography Subject Leader.

    Mrs Sehmi is Deputy Headteacher, Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, Inclusion Leader (SENCO), LAC Leader, School Travel Plan Leader, English & PHSE Subject Leader, Year 6 Pullman class teacher and Year 5 & 6 phase leader.

It is essential that every child, no matter where they are from or what their background is, should be able to learn and thrive in a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment. Teaching in a school with a wide multi-cultural intake means I get to celebrate the wonderful diversity in our school community".

    Mr Lee is Deputy Headteacher, Designated Safeguarding Lead, Assessment Lead, Mental Health First Aider, Rights Respecting Schools, Educational Visits Coordinator, Music and RSE Subject Leader, Year 6 Pullman class teacher and Year 3 & 4 phase leader.
